Live Events FAQ

At all our events nudity is permitted 24/7 and encouraged.

Ultimately we want everyone to be happy! Our events are the perfect way for people to try out social nudity for the first time.

We understand that not everyone is confident as one another and everyone’s decision will be respected, particularly where a partner or friend is supporting somebody's decision to try Naturism.

At Waterpark events and swims Nudity is to be expected unless a woman is on her period, where a partner is being accompanied or if children and teenagers would prefer to wear a suit.

We hope the spirit of our BN Events and (hopefully) the weather will allow for the perfect setting for inhibitions to be shed.

Ultimately, common sense prevails - if it’s cold put clothes on, if it’s hot -take them off!

That’s not a problem.

We understand that your visit to a BN Event could be your first Naturist experience.

Many people have been apprehensive undressing on their first time, but once they’ve done it wonder what the big problem was in the first place!

Naturist etiquette requires a towel, sarong or garment to be sat on at all times - it’s the naturist way...

You are not alone and there are several ways to make your Naturist experience more comfortable.

Ultimately it is down to personal preference, some ladies preferring to wear bottoms others just using products.

Either way it’s about your personal comfort. You won’t be judged.

The most frequently asked question posed by men!

Honestly, it very rarely happens, a naturist environment is not one that is sexually charged.

If nature does take its course then take a break, sit down and relax - ultimately be discreet.

Yeah we just said it!

If you think you are coming to some weird seedy place then think again – wholesome family fun and a zero-tolerance rule for any funny business.

Naturism promotes a non-sexual environment. A lack of clothing doesn't change any of the normal consents and boundaries.

There will be official photographers at many BN Events.

You will only be in images if you give us permission - on arrival at an event you will be given a wristband which tells our photographers if you can appear or not.

As you can see from the images on this site we are only after capturing the spirit of the event and not in an invasive way either.

Everyone you see has consented to their image being used.

Personal Photography

General Photography is not permitted. You may take pictures on your pitch or in private as long as you have the people in the view finders permission.

We have a zero tolerance policy to any photography without permissions.

Online Events FAQ

We use Zoom to host our video sessions. It is the market leading platform for online meetings and webinars. No personal booking data is passed to Zoom. That said if you have a Zoom account or Zoom User ID their system will recognise you because of the data you have independently given Zoom. Zoom’s privacy and security policy can be found online here.

We use BookWhen to manage our online bookings.

They hold the data we ask you for and process all the bookings of sessions including taking any payments securely via Stripe.

If you have any questions regarding BookWhen they explain their privacy policy very clearly here.

Details of how British Naturism deal with your data can be found here.

As part of the sign-up procedure you are able to opt into marketing around our events and online activities. We never spam or sell your data, just the occasional email telling you what we are up to.

As part of a booking we take your name and email address so we can identify you and send you the transactional emails regarding bookings. We also take a mobile phone number; this is for operational purposes only and will only be used if a session is rescheduled or cancelled. This is not for marketing.

Each session is monitored by the British Naturism safeguarding team to ensure all our terms are met by participants. Throughout the session the team monitor all cameras, making sure they are switched on and the participant is in view and is actively taking part in the session. The safeguarding team are also there to help with technical issues too. If a camera cannot be connected, a person is not taking an active role in the session or acts inappropriately their session will be terminated. Sessions are not recorded.

There is no requirement to use your real name during a session. If you are not logged into a Zoom account, you will be asked the name you wish to display. If you are a Zoom account holder you can change your name by clicking on your name and changing it.

Every visible precaution is taken for your safety and comfort online, however, British Naturism makes no guarantees that a participant’s anonymity can be ensured.

Our online sessions are not recorded.

From time-to-time we may vary this for a promotional opportunity. This would be done by extending a session rather than during the actual session. You would have plenty of opportunity to leave before we started recording.

Any other variation to our standard policies would be clearly announced and indicated.

Yes, all our online sessions are community participation events. We insist that cameras are on and the participant is in view.

The reality of this is that you will be able to see a few of your fellow participants and a few of them will see you. Your instructor will be the main view on the screen. You will be little more than a thumbnail!

No - you are expected to be in view and participating. Our moderators will remove anyone not taking part.

Naturist FAQ

Why not? We live in a world where we are made to conform, media tell us who is pretty and who is not – this is about chucking all that out of the window and enjoying clothes-freedom, and experiencing the most body positive thing you will ever do!

Everyone is beautiful! If you have never experienced it, it is Its utterly bonkers doing all these things Naked but only for the first five minutes. Honestly, after a few minutes your new, Naturist world will seem very normal – honest!

Plus its good for you… so good, you were even born naked!!

Actually, no one is looking at your body; in fact, newbies tend to avoid looking as if their lives depend on it!

This is about YOU as a person, which is not defined by what you look like, because that’s the point!

Naturism is one of the best ways to become more confident!

Equally, you should never be ashamed to let people know how confident you are about yourself! What we do is safe, legal, and healthy; there is no need to “admit” to naturism!

British Natirism instills the true values of body acceptance and shows us that nakedness is nothing to be ashamed of and is in the truest sense natural.

Being nude with others is not embarrassing.

First-timers often remark how quickly they feel comfortable wearing nothing and seeing others unclothed – in fact, it’s easy to forget that everyone is naked…and just because they are, doesn’t make for a sexually-charged atmosphere either.

British Naturism is a family-based Naturist organisation. The safety and care of all our members and guests is our priority.

We take safeguarding seriously.

At all events we work with the local police and community support teams to provide a safe and secure environment.

At all events we have photo I.D. requirements for anyone over 18 or BN Membership.Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
